Leigh Halley Academy is now recruiting for a Director of Learning - Maths, to lead a well-established, collaborative and successful department. This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate curriculum leader to become part of an established, highly collaborative and successful mathematics department from January 2027.

All of the mathematics team are subject-specialists, three of whom are on the Academy Leadership Team. Students in Key Stage 3 study mathematics as part of the IB Middle Years Programme. The subject is very popular and successful at Key Stage 4, with many students choosing to continue their studies into Key Stage 5, with the Applications and Interpretation course as part of the International Baccalaureate Careers Related Programme. This is a permanent opportunity that offers a competitive salary on the leadership scale, commensurate with experience.
