At Leigh Academies Trust, we are seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join our established and supportive finance team, based at Leigh Stationers' Academy. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth and effective financial operations across the academy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that values both professional growth and personal integrity.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise, and meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work. Experience working in the education sector is highly advantageous.
The basis of this role is permanent and offers an actual salary of £21,368 per annum (£29,146 full-time equivalent) based on 30 hours per week, term time + 3 weeks inset. The hiring managers can be flexible with start and finish times and can offer either 4 days per week, 8am - 4pm or 5 days per week, 9am - 3:30pm.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality financial support services across the academy to enable schools to focus on delivering education.
- Work closely with the Principal, Finance Managers, and colleagues across the Trust.
- Contribute to smooth and effective financial operations and processes.
