Are you a disciplined leader with a passion for developing young talent? Leigh Stationers' Academy is looking for a dynamic School Staff Instructor (SSI) to be the backbone of our Combined Cadet Force (CCF). If you have the grit of a Combined Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) and the heart of a mentor, we want you on our team.

As the SSI, you aren’t just an administrator; you are the standard-bearer. You’ll work alongside the Contingent Commander to ensure our cadets thrive in a safe, high-energy environment.

You will need to:

  • Manage the Westminster database, security clearances, and recruitment.
  • Oversee the MOD loan stores, grants, and the CCF budget.
  • Draft expert risk assessments and ensure every drill or exercise is compliant and secure.
  • Keep the unit "spit and polish" for Biennial and Security inspections.
  • Champion student welfare and safeguarding with a "warm-strict" approach.
  • Be tech savvy: Proficient in MS Office and the Westminster system.
  • Show resilience: Ready to lead during camps and unsociable hours.
  • Bonus Points: First Aid, SAAI, Adventure Training qualifications, or a D1 Minibus license.
