Our supportive Governing Board are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to join our caring team. We are looking for someone to support our staff team in ensuring that pupils have a positive experience in a safe environment at our friendly and welcoming school.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting learning within the classroom environment while upholding our school Christian values at all times. The role will be required for 30 hours per week during term time, with hours of work from Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 15.15pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.
Applicants must feel comfortable contributing to the ethos of our Christian school.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification.
- Confidently support quality first teaching of children alongside the class teacher.
- Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
- Be willing to engage in further training.
- Be willing to help with self-care skills if needed.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding children.
- Be competent to use ICT to support learning.
- Nurture, inspire and motivate, and contribute effectively to the vision and values of our school.
- Have high expectations of our pupils’ achievements and behaviour.
- Fully support the Christian ethos and values of our school.
- Be able to demonstrate that they are reliable and pro-active.
