Our supportive Governing Board are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and caring team. We are looking for someone to support our staff team in ensuring that pupils have a positive experience in a safe environment at our friendly and welcoming school. We are looking for someone who is pleasant and able to communicate with a wide variety of people in the school environment and has a genuine passion to work with our young people.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting learning within the classroom environment within school, upholding our school Christian values at all times. The role will be required for 30 hours per week term time. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.45am - 15.15pm including a 30-minute lunch break. Applicants must feel comfortable in contributing to the ethos of our Christian school.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working with a primary school setting.
- Be able to demonstrate that they are reliable and pro-active.
- Be able to deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils of all abilities.
- Have high expectations of our pupils’ achievement and behaviour.
- Be knowledgeable about the primary curriculum.
- Be keen to develop their practice and explore new ways of developing teaching and learning strategies to benefit all our pupils.
- Fully support the Christian ethos and values of our school.
