We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently whilst also completing warehouse duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining safety standards, and supporting warehouse operations. A valid clean driving licence and experience in commercial driving are essential for this position. Hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans, to deliver goods to various locations.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as stock organisation, stock checks, and order fulfilment.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Support the warehouse team with general operational tasks as needed.
