Our lovely, long-standing client is seeking a maternity nurse who is kind, warm and gentle, with a good deal of experience, and happy to work within a household team. Ideally, English is the first language, very flexible and has a gentle approach to routines.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Winding and changing the baby after the evening feeds.
- When it’s time to move onto bottle feeds, cleaning and making up the bottles.
- Taking the baby out for walks during the day.
- Helping to implement a routine.
- Supporting the mother with recovery after birth.
- Bathing, dressing, cleaning (baby's areas), settling and comforting.
- Helping sibling/s bond with the new arrival.
- Age appropriate stimulation as the baby gets older; singing, reading, playing simple games with the infant.
Days: 6 days a week with a day off over the weekend.
Start date: 24th February 2020 for 6 months - There may be potential to stay longer if all works out.
Travel: You will need to be able and happy to travel to Europe and the US.
