Leigh & Co. Events is a fast-growing wedding planning company based throughout the entire United States, expanding internationally and looking for planners in the UK. We provide wedding design, coordination, and planning services for engaged couples.

This position is a contract role with a flexible schedule. Training is provided. Pay ranges from €20 to €35 per hour, paid per project. We are looking for individuals to join for our 2026 season and beyond.

The Lead Wedding Coordinator will serve as a lead planner to provide wedding planning services for couples, primarily onsite. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating wedding timelines for couples
  • Being an advocate for the couple, keeping them calm under pressure and assisting with any issues that arise throughout the day
  • Overseeing ceremony and reception set up
  • Executing all day-of operations for the wedding, which includes being at the venue from the very beginning of the morning through tear down at the end of the night
  • Greeting and directing all vendors
  • Communicating with all vendors regarding set ups
  • Setting up seating cards, menu cards, table numbers, favours, guest book, and other decor
  • Assisting the wedding party and family with any needs, questions, or concerns
  • Ensuring end of event arrangements are made for gifts, guest book, toasting flutes, etc.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends is essential
  • Must have 2 years experience as a wedding planner or event planner
  • Must have strong communication skills and be detail oriented
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
