Leigh Academy Milestone is looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants (PMLD) to join our special educational needs (SEN) team and support students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). In this rewarding role, you will work 1:1 and in small groups to help children with complex cognitive, physical, and sensory needs reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- You will assist with personal care and medical needs.
- Support students in swimming, PE, and outdoor activities such as Forest School.
- Provide daily assistance to help them reach their full potential.
Qualifications
- Applicants should have GCSEs in English and Maths.
- Experience working with young people.
