This appointment is key for Leidos UK. The account is a primary growth area that relies on maintaining existing and developing links with the established customer base and the wider Leidos organisation. As Portfolio Director you will define the strategy and build market presence, working closely with US colleagues and leveraging existing IP and partnerships to offer an innovative and disruptive service. You will be accountable for managing a sizeable section of the division P&L and developing strategies to meet and exceed the annual operating plan. You will bring significant business experience and the vision and energy to shape and influence a market‑leading, differentiated business. Your background will be underpinned by a track record of significant delivery in a highly disciplined environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Implement the Leidos UK strategy around core technology capabilities.
- Build strategic capability to win and execute major programmes, leading a leadership team and ensuring succession.
- Build and maintain a significant network of contacts at leadership and decision‑making levels.
- Identify and deliver significant programme wins within the sector and client network.
- Ensure flawless programme execution of existing contracts.
- Co‑ordinate with all operational functions to support programme execution and business development.

- Strong operational pedigree with a solid understanding of key financial levers and drivers.
- Highly organised and capable of building a high‑performing team.
