We are in search of a Systems Engineering Lead for our Leidos engineering capability. The successful Systems Engineer will have a full understanding of the principles of systems engineering, will have prior experience as a Systems Engineer on a major programme involving accepting and integrating deliveries from suppliers. As a Systems Engineer in Leidos, you will be immersed in one of our key programmes – transformation from legacy systems to cloud. On behalf of our central government customer, you will have direct impact on the current and future iterations of one of our most important pieces of critical national infrastructure.

Using your experience in Systems Engineering, you will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to execute/lead Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle.

What Does Leidos Need From Me?
Systems Engineering knowledge: You must have demonstrable knowledge and experience of applying the development lifecycle, requirements management & design, and baseline management, with a solid understanding of the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook. You must be experienced with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies. You must have demonstrable knowledge and experience of performing Trade Studies, drawing conclusions and making recommendations to stakeholders. A solid foundation in security principles and practices is essential.
Desirable technical knowledge:
- Familiarity with On-Premise Infrastructure solutions, e.g. VMWare ESXI, SAN Storage.
- Familiarity with AWS based Cloud solutions.
- Experience of working within a Bid / pre-sales environment.
- Knowledge of TOGAF/MODAF.
