Description Risk and Business Continuity Manager Programme Name: LCST Location: Bristol, UK – The role will be hybrid, with expectations to be in our Bristol, UK office at least one day per week and some UK travel will be required. Role Overview: Leidos Europe Ltd (as Prime contractor) is seeking a UK based Programme level Risk and Business Continuity Manager who is a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. They will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Programme Risk and Business Continuity Manager will be supported by a Risk and Business Continuity Advisor. This role is the programme focal point for risk management and business continuity across the Prime contract as part of the functions stakeholder management duties defined below. The role will be hybrid, with expectations to be in our Bristol, UK office at least two days per week and some UK travel will be required. Duties & Responsibilities Risk Management: Lead the contract’s risk management framework, ensuring compliance with UK Defence risk policies. Maintain and annually update the Programme’s Risk Management Plan Oversee and maintain risk register for the Prime and oversee and validate subcontractor risk deliverables. Partner with programme SMEs and leadership to ensure risks are owned, monitored, and mitigated. Produce and maintain risk compliance dashboards for monthly leadership reviews; and contractual submissions. Provide challenge and assurance to subcontractor risk reporting, ensuring contractual commitments are delivered. Business Continuity: Own and maintain the Prime Business Continuity Plan (BCP), covering hybrid workforce arrangements across our Leidos LCST workforce locations. Ensure subcontractor BCPs are aligned, tested, and compliant with contractual requirements. Maintain and annually update the Programme’s Business Continuity and Incident Management Plan (BC&IMP) and Prime Crisis Response Plan (CRP). Lead business continuity exercises and post-incident reviews, driving continuous improvement. Governance & Leadership: Chair the Risk & Business Continuity Working Group(s), driving subject matter expertise engagement and accountability. Brief the Prime leadership team monthly on risk status, trends, and required actions. Coordinate with Defence risk and business continuity stakeholders to ensure alignment with MOD/DE&S policy and contractual expectations. Provide subject matter expertise during audits, inspections, and customer assurance reviews. Skills Required: Certification in a relevant risk and/or business continuity disciplines is necessary, with an appetite to be certified within both a risk and a business continuity discipline within 12 – 18 months Strong communication (written and verbal), leadership and partnership working skills. Experience working with the following tools: SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Ability to deliver at pace, multi-task and manage pressing deadlines. UK citizenship Be able to achieve SC clearance Willing to travel UK Wide Desirable Skills Required: Experience working with MOD contracts, policies and procedures.
