Location: Hybrid / Bristol - ideally based in the Bristol office at least once a month
Role Overview: A PMO Benefits Realisation Manager is required to work within the Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) programme at Leidos Europe initially on a 14-month FTC. Leidos Europe is the prime contractor in a consortium spanning Leidos Supply Limited, Kuehne + Nagel, TVS Supply Chain Solutions and smaller specialist companies, operating the commodity procurement, storage and distribution functions previously performed by the MOD’s Logistics Commodities and Services Operating Centre. LCST is implementing digital transformation for one of the world’s foremost military operations, while generating hundreds of millions in savings for the UK Government and Taxpayers.
Working within the P3M team, the PMO Benefits Realisation Manager will ensure alignment between business change activity and with the programme business cases. Liaising with a number of stakeholders, you will continue to build and develop the strategy for delivering against our benefit commitments and lead engagement within the business. You will ensure that you continually improve and engage the business with the benefits management strategy. You will be constantly reviewing and monitoring controls and reporting effectively to highlight risks and enable the business to take corrective actions and ensure the benefits realisation plan stays on target. You will manage the plan to document the release of benefits and communicate and agree with key stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Demonstrable experience of the development of benefits management strategies, techniques, processes and tools
- Demonstrable experience of cost benefit analysis methods, benefits mapping and benefit profiling tools
- Experience of the development and implementation of Management Information processes and products relating to benefits realisation
- Strong numerical and verbal critical reasoning ability
- Ability to quickly build credibility with senior managers and stakeholders and successfully influence decision makers at senior levels
- Ability to mentor and coach project managers and other practitioners in the benefits management process
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong project and change management skills
- Project Governance and PMO Analysis experience is desirable
- Degree educated, preferably with recognised Project Management qualification (APM, MSP or similar)
Clearance Requirements:
BPSS pre-screening required to start. SC required for the role (must possess or be able to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance).
