Responsible for the successful execution of code development for PLC(s) within our client base / organization. Your job could entail periods of time away from the office/home during project implementation, standby and supporting the customer. As part of a global company, you may be required to work remotely both in the UK and worldwide. There will be a requirement to work some weekends as well as potential nights to support our customer projects which may entail aggressive deadlines during project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop PLC code from drawings or to a customer’s specification.
- PLC Software development.
- Onsite commissioning and I/O testing / Setup.
- Effective planning and achieving goals / objectives in the required time frame.
- Monitor and work to project budget deadlines.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Good communication and writing skills including the ability to communicate at a detailed level with internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing subcontract design resources to ensure quality of delivery.
- Project management, Engineering, Installation Teams.
- Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects.
- Follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures.
- Fully understand and always adhere to the Company’s Equality Policy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project.
