Leidos is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to partner with Manchester Airport Group (MAG) and drive service excellence across four airport sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate and deliver “24/7 technical service operations” for MAG across Manchester, Stansted, East Midlands and other required locations.
- Manage operational delivery, asset maintenance, software upgrades, inventory management and incident recovery to meet contractual SLA targets.
- Lead a high‑performance cross‑functional technical team, plan workforce resources, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own SLA management, performance reporting, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and compliant service delivery.
- Coordinate audit and inspection activities and maintain health & safety, compliance, and cyber‑security standards across all sites.
- Partner with the Service Program Account Manager and internal stakeholders to influence strategy, escalation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing multi‑site, large‑scale, technical service operations in regulated environments.
- Strong leadership, people management, and a track record of building high‑performance agile teams.
- Excellent planning, time‑management, commercial and financial acumen.
- Advanced IT skills – CRM, data analytics, reporting tools, and ISO quality system knowledge.
- High integrity, professionalism, and a passion for performance and development of people.
- Experience travelling regularly and supporting travel between airport sites.
Education & Certifications
- Level 5 Leadership/Management or equivalent experience.
- NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND in electronics or mechanical engineering.
- IOSH Managing Safely competency.
Pay & Benefits
£58,400.00 – £74,900.00 per annum, plus competitive benefits, health and wellness programmes, and career growth opportunities at Leidos.
