Integration Test Engineer - ATMLocation: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, HampshireClearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearanceWe are looking for an Integration Tester to join our team to help us deliver a large-scale systems integration programme.As part of a multi discipline team the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, writing and execution of test cases, as assigned by the Test Lead. The successful candidate will interface with multiple teams, and with Customer stakeholders to create and execute tests. The role will require the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the team, ranging from technical personnel to programme leadership.The role includes executing tests across a variety of software products, their interfaces and network & infrastructure configurations, and identifying and managing resulting defects.What will I be doing? Generating Test Cases by reviewing of requirements and design documentation, liaising with SMEs, suppliers and stakeholdersDocumenting of test results and any defects/reporting progress, risks & issuesInvestigating issues and working with suppliers to identify root cause and resolutionAnalysing data, large datasets and test evidence from suppliers to show compliance to requirementsIdentifying improvements in new and existing processesWhat does Leidos need from me?ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testingAbility to work onsite 2-3 days per weekExcellent understanding of Testing Lifecycle and the different types of testing such as Functional, Non-Functional and Integration TestingProven track record in developing Software solutions using 1st (1GL) through 3rd (3GL) generation languages (e.g. ADA 83/95, C, C++) Proven Experience using Waterfall and V model development modelsProven experience delivering solutions on Linux type operating systemsExperience of using development environments related to 1GL through 3GL generation LanguagesAble to estimate and plan own immediate tasks and manage their completionGood oral and written communication skills, confident in technical and non-technical discussionsGood time management and organisational skills – ability to work with minimal supervisionEnthusiastic, proactive, troubleshooting attitude with a willingness to learn new technologiesExperience of creating Test Cases based on requirements and design documentsPreferred ExperienceExperience of Other Software Development Techniques like Agile development (e.g. Scrum)Experience of delivering real-time and/or safety-related softwareKnowledge of modelling languages (e.g. SysML, UML)Knowledge of procedural and object orientated software development languages (e.g. Ada, C, C++ & Java)Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python)Knowledge of COTS integration technologies (e.g. Apache)Working with large-scale and complex integration programmesExperience with service oriented architectureATM knowledge would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisiteWhat we do for you:At Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success, UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
