Technical Delivery Manager

Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of complex technical initiatives across engineering teams.

Drive delivery through structured planning, effective use of Jira, and strong stakeholder engagement.

This position requires a blend of technical understanding, delivery leadership, and team management to ensure solutions are delivered efficiently, with clear accountability and visibility.

Your Role and Primary Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects and initiatives across multiple teams
  • Drive planning, execution, and tracking of work using Jira
  • Manage and maintain delivery backlogs, boards, workflows, and reporting structures
  • Break down high-level requirements into actionable user stories and technical tasks
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure work is properly scoped
  • Provide technical oversight and challenge where required
  • Line manage team members including performance reviews and mentoring
  • Act as the primary interface between technical teams and stakeholders
  • Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time)
  • Continuously improve delivery processes
  • Ensure adherence to governance and reporting standards
  • Basic Qualifications
  • Experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role
  • Strong Jira experience for planning and reporting
  • Experience managing cross‑functional technical teams
  • Technical background (Dev Ops, engineering, infrastructure)
  • Understanding of software delivery lifecycle
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Confluence experience
  • Dev Ops / CI‑CD / Azure exposure
  • Agile framework familiarity
