As a software engineering manager/senior developer within our Civil division you will act as the main technical point of contact for one or more solutions. In this role you will lead the delivery of a future work pipeline and resolve complex support tasks requiring deep subject matter expertise, while ensuring technical assurance standards are maintained during the completion of engineering tasks.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor other engineers while also taking a direct hands‑on approach to delivery when appropriate.
- Provide subject matter expertise to application support analysts during the resolution of complex support issues.
- Ensure requirement and design documentation is maintained to a high standard and on a timely basis.
- Specify tasks, establish estimates and track progress during their completion.
- Raise and manage technical escalations reported by the team, and clear blockers.
- Ensure changes are fully tested and correct, and that mandated assurance activities such as code reviews take place.
- Manage the successful deployment of changes to the customer’s hosting environment, and complete knowledge transfer activities when required.

- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, e.g. Azure DevOps (ADO), BitBucket, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy
- Cloud Services Experience or Certifications (Azure, AWS)
