Leidos is seeking a junior Security Specialist at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, England. This role will support a major program aligned with Air Combat Command’s Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. As a Security Specialist, you will be a key contributor to the protection and success of this critical mission. What You’ll Do:

  • Manage facets of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program and Special Access Program (SAP) including physical, personnel, information or industrial security.
  • Implement necessary standards, such as SCIF accreditation standards, to ensure physical separation and TEMPEST.
  • Provide security office services, ensuring personnel assigned to SCI and SAP billets meet and maintain all security clearance requirements.
  • Manage the following programs/procedures: Periodic Reinvestigation Program, SAP Nomination Process (SAPNP), Program Access Request (PAR), Media Control Procedures, and Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and the Access Control System (ACS).
  • Manage personnel, visitors and visit requests in databases used by the Intelligence Community to record eligibility and access to SCI, SAP and other caveated programs such as DISS, JADE, Scattered Castles and Air Force Space Command (SCIBS).
  • Maintain the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditations on SCIFs and SCIF accreditation on any future SCIFs.
  • Maintain Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) accreditations on SAPFs and SAPF accreditation on any future SAPFs.
  • Validate clearances/accesses and prepare and process outgoing Visit Access Requests.
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing VARs in accordance with established practice.
  • Conduct Personnel Security functions within special access guidance.
  • Conduct Tier 1 personnel security reviews.
  • Complete and coordinate access request packages for access authorization authority.
  • Create and process waiver packages, to include suspense tracking until completed.
  • Create and manage personnel folders.
  • Create, update and distribute entry authority lists.
  • Prepare classified material for shipment and prepare appropriate forms (AF Forms 310 and 12).
  • Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues.

What Sets You Apart (Required):

  • Active DoW Top Secret/SCI with polygraph.
  • Knowledge of DoW, IC and USAF security directives.
  • High school and 5 years of experience or an Associate’s degree and 3 years of experience, with 2 years of direct security experience (i.e. junior SSO, Security Assistant or Facilities Manager). Relevant intelligence backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Eligibility for SAP access required within 6 months of hire.

Pay Range: $59,150.00-$91,000.00
