Role Overview:
Leidos Europe Ltd is seeking a UK-based Compliance and Quality Assurance Lead to support the delivery of assurance and audit programmes on the Ministry of Defence Logistics, Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) Programme. A motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. They will be a dedicated resource to the Logistics Division working on LCST. The role will be hybrid, working from home and working out of our Bristol office when required to support meetings, with UK travel and some overseas required.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance and Continuous Improvement, you will support Quality Assurance and Government Furnished (non-IS) Asset (GFA) Management activities required on the LCST Programme.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the accurate material accounting within Team Leidos Public Stores account in relation to GFA
- Manage and maintain the risk based Key Subcontractor audit schedule
- Conduct Key Subcontractor audits as Lead Auditor against ISO and Contractual requirements
- Support and conduct supply chain programme audits as Lead Auditor for ISO and Contractual requirements
- Support the audit surveillance activities conducted on key subcontractors and suppliers
- Line management responsibilities of Quality Assurance Advisor role within the Compliance Team
- Develop knowledge to become a subject matter expertise on Quality Management, ISO Standards and MOD defence related standards including AQAPs and Joint Service Publications
- Provide day-to-day guidance to stakeholders on compliance requirements (e.g., Schedule 3, audits, policy changes)
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Quality Assurance Advisor and wider Compliance Team, monitor performance and support development
- Collect performance metrics (e.g. KPI’s) on both Quality and Asset Management to support cyclical reporting requirements
- Act as delegate for the Deputy Head of Compliance and CI as required, including chairing/representing at compliance forums and governance meetings.
- Executes activities in accordance with the LCST Quality Management Plan and LCST Asset Management Plan
Required Skills:
- Quality assurance and Control activity experience in a complex environment
- Certified as an ISO 9001 or similar standard Lead Auditor
- Implementing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
- Good verbal and written skills and ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- UK citizenship
- Willingness to achieve SC clearance
- Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with MOD contracts, policies and procedures including AQAP, Defence Standards, and Joint Service Publications.
- Experience working with the following tools: Power BI, SharePoint, MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Jira
- Active SC security clearance

- BPSS pre-screening required to start

Pay Range: £44,700.00-£57,300.00
