Leidos is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Lead to support an Engineering Development Centre in Singapore. This role provides technical leadership for software delivery pipelines, automation, security integration, and engineering productivity while working closely with customer engineers in a collaborative capability-building environment. The successful candidate will establish DevSecOps standards, drive automation and continuous delivery practices, integrate security and safety throughout the software lifecycle, and contribute to long-term engineering capability development through mentoring, knowledge transfer, and hands-on collaboration.
Joining us will allow you to:
- Lead the design and operation of modern CI/CD pipelines and secure delivery practices.
- Influence DevSecOps standards, automation strategy, and engineering productivity.
- Mentor engineers and build long-term customer capability.
- Work closely with customers in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across Singapore and the United States.
DevSecOps Lead Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to DevSecOps engineers.
- Establish DevSecOps standards, automation frameworks, and delivery processes.
- Drive co-development activities with customer engineers and support knowledge-transfer initiatives.
- Integrate security and safety practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with software, infrastructure, integration, test, and reliability engineering teams.
- Support release management, deployment automation, and configuration management activities.
- Champion AI-enabled software engineering practices and modern development tools.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or software engineering.
- Experience leading DevSecOps or automation teams.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, automation, source code management, and secure software development.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional engineering teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting knowledge transfer, workforce development, training, or mentoring initiatives.
- Experience leading co-development teams involving customers, partners, or contractor personnel.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar technologies.
- Relevant DevOps, cloud, security, or Agile certifications are desirable.
- Proficiency in English and one or more regional languages is desirable.
- Candidates with existing authorization to work in Singapore.
