This is an exciting opportunity to become the Programme Security Specialist, Supply Chain Assurance for the Logistical Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) programme, where your work will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring uninterrupted delivery of essential materials and services.

You will have experience in supply chain security, risk assessment, and compliance with MOD and HMG standards, as well as effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Role Requirements:
  • Assess the confidentiality, integrity, significance and availability of information and assets within the LCST Supply Chain.
  • Determine the necessary levels of security based on requirements, policy, and the threat; to actively contribute to the overall success and security of operations.
  • Review the LCST supply chain to identify key risks related to loss, disruption, damage, or destruction of materials and services, as well as assess how effective suppliers' security controls are at mitigating those risks.
  • Follow MOD policy to ensure compliance with HMG Supply Chain Security Standards.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including the Head of Cyber & IS Security, and Contracts Management team, to ensure contracts with suppliers include the required controls and standards.
  • Regularly assure supplier activities by collaborating with the Leidos Quality team, confirming that standards are appropriate and consistently met.
  • Provide education, awareness, and support to suppliers regarding their security responsibilities, along with travelling to supplier sites for assurance visits and audits as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery and assurance of all supply chain security measures across Leidos Europe's network of suppliers, ensuring full compliance with both customer requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports to the LCST Programme Security Manager and offer guidance on supply chain security policies, best practices, and risk assessment.
  • Develop, review, and update supply chain security policies and procedures.
  • Support the LCST Programme Security Manager by addressing supplier-related security incidents, including overseeing, and performing security investigations.
  • Direct the flow down of Security Aspects Letters and security requirements across contracts.
  • Conduct security risk assessments of potential suppliers to effectively establish appropriate mitigation measures and compliant working practices.
  • Ensure the implementation and currency of the latest MOD Cyber Security Model for each contract and participate in the MOD-led Cyber Security Working Group.
  • Lead assurance reviews and visits to identify and manage risks and promote security awareness throughout the supply chain.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders throughout the supply.
Skills Required:
  • Previous experience in security control measures, conducting audits and providing advice.
  • Understanding of HMG supply chain security policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate a history of working across functions at multiple levels.
  • A highly motivated individual, able to work on their own initiative but also collaboratively as part of a team.
Skills Desired:
  • Previous experience in supply chain security.
  • Previous experience of working within Defence Security Industry.
  • Previous experience conducting security investigations.
  • Basic understanding of Cyber Security.
Clearance Requirements:
  • BPSS Pre-screening required to start.
  • SC required for the role.
