Would you be interested in working in a production environment where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our goods and services are produced efficiently, at the right cost and level of quality? We are seeking a Stores/Goods-in Operative to join our production team in Wickford. This role will work on a day shift, 40 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm).
The main duties of our Stores/Goods-in Operative are:
- Responsible for the day to day running of the stores, goods in/out area.
- Packing, documentation and shipping of products.
- Understand the Quality Management System Quality Brief.
- Receiving materials, performing quality and quantity checks and booking them in to the stock system.
- Putting together kits for production.
- Assist in the loading/unloading of delivery vehicles.
Some experience in either an engineering stores or warehouse environment is required.
Strong organisation skills are essential.
Take a proactive approach to work, working independently and as part of the wider production team, capable of using initiative to solve problems.
Ability to constructively challenge proposed operational and workplace needs to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Due to the nature of our business, you must be able to obtain and maintain BPSS security clearance.
Pay Range: £23,400.00-£27,500.00
