Help protect children and young people at risk from crime and violence. As our Prevention and Diversion Manager, you will design and manage the implementation of key diversion and prevention strategies and initiatives. The Violence Reduction Network (VRN) is a wide alliance of groups, organisations, and communities focused on preventing and reducing violence and harm. Working collaboratively, we are an ambitious team providing expertise to wider partnerships. You’ll work closely with children, young people, and communities, delivering prevention projects, interventions, and services, and influencing shared objectives and goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing strategic and operational direction to develop and deliver the VRN’s work
- Collaborating with partners from relevant sectors (e.g., youth work, education, police, community)
- Supporting the development of resources to empower partners to engage and divert children and young people at risk
