An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Receptionist to join the Fleet Management Transport Unit on a full-time permanent basis. Leicestershire Police covers large geographical areas, and our police fleet vehicles are vital to ensure we provide effective policing to all corners of Leicestershire. Working with our fleet management team, you will help to make sure we have the well-maintained vehicles we need.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Processing the daily admin required to keep the Transport Workshop running effectively in real time.
- Be the first contact point for enquiries from vehicle users concerning all aspects of vehicle servicing and vehicle maintenance.
- Accurately record vehicle data and maintenance detail on the appropriate systems.
The must haves
- Hold a City and Guilds Fleet Management qualification or equivalent industry standard qualification, or have equivalent work experience to the stated qualifications.
- Experience in the day-to-day running of a Workshop Reception function or similar environment.
- Experience of using a telematic system to manage vehicle maintenance.
