Support complex investigations with precision, integrity and efficiency. You will be providing efficient administrative support to ECU (Economic Crime Unit) working on complex and serious investigations, ensuring accurate records and smooth day-to-day operations. As part of the team you’ll be supporting the timely recording, management, and disposal of recovered cash and property, maintaining compliance, accountability, and high professional standards. This is a part-time role working 29.5 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Count seized cash exhibits from across the force considering any forensic issues.
- Manage cash to ensure all payments in and out are accurately recorded.
- Prepare and correctly interpret payment of confiscation orders, payments to the Home Office re cash forfeitures and individuals bank accounts.
The must haves
- Educated to A Level or equivalent in English Language and Maths or have experience of working to the equivalent standard.
- Prioritise a high volume of sensitive, time critical work, using effective organisational skills.
- Solve problems whilst working with minimum supervision.
