Deliver intelligence that drives action and safety. Join the East Midlands Special Operations Unit as a Researcher and play a vital role in tackling serious and organised crime, providing an around the clock service to the region. You’ll research and examine information from multiple sources to produce intelligence that drives strategic, tactical, and operational decisions and monitor risks and threats across East Midlands.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering time critical research to support serious and organised crime investigations.
  • Identifying and developing new sources of intelligence and implementing the latest best practices.
  • Prioritising and assessing intelligence during spontaneous operational developments and conducting proactive research.

Qualifications

  • Previously supported reactive and proactive investigations.
  • Research and data collection experience including assessment/validation of information.
  • Experience working in a high pressure environment with minimal supervision and self-motivation.
