Crime Support is made up of a number of specialist sections. Each section employs highly skilled officers and makes full use of the latest equipment and technology, alongside sophisticated working practices and techniques, to investigate and prevent offences. Ultimately, our work protects people - especially those who are the most vulnerable within our community. If you’re looking for an exciting new and unique volunteering experience, look no further.
Location: Euston Street Police Station
Key Accountabilities:
- Viewing CCTV footage
- Assisting in the review of crime reports
- Updating databases including NICHE
- Assisting with looking at mobile phone data
The must haves:
- The ability to work on own and use own initiative
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good computer skills e.g. Word, EXCEL and Outlook
What Training and Support You Will Receive:
You will take part in an induction to help you understand your role and how the force works, along with training on how to use specialist databases and IT systems.
How much time?
This is a flexible role and hours (in amount and when) are subject to local agreement.
