Play a vital role in responsible firearms licensing with Leicestershire Police. As a Firearms Licensing Administrator with the Local Policing Team, you will have clerical and administrative responsibility for all aspects of the licensing of firearms, shotguns and explosives and associated activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing applicants for the grant and renewal of firearm, shotgun and explosives certificates.
- Responding to enquiries by telephone, email and in person from Police Officers, Staff and members of the public.
- Issuing certificates and permits, and maintaining records.
The must haves
- GCSE grade C/4 (minimum) in English Language, or have equivalent experience working to this level.
- Experience in an administrative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, providing high-quality service to customers.
