Turn intelligence into action against financial crime. As a Non-Accredited Financial Investigator with the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, you will support investigations into financial crimes by developing intelligence, gathering evidence and helping to recover assets through obtaining confiscation orders including those to compensate victims of crime.
Responsibilities:
- Planning investigations ensuring they are conducted thoroughly.
- Identifying criminally obtained assets and conducting confiscation inquiries.
- Providing specialist financial investigation advice to a range of stakeholders.
- Have knowledge of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
- Be skilled in writing accurate and detailed reports and criminal/civil files.
- Have experience prioritising and managing a high workload to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have 5 years' continuous residency in the UK.
