Areas of Responsibility We are seeking a Clinical Team Leader for the following areas: Melton & Rutland, Hinckley and Northwest Leicestershire, and Loughborough/Charnwood Teams. A full UK driving license and access to a car during working hours are required. About The Service Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland MHST is an early intervention and preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing service. It delivers evidence-based interventions for CYP with mild to moderate mental health needs. The service is part of the national MHST Programme, commissioned following the 2017 Green Paper on transforming children and young people\’s mental health care. Contact Details Email: surekhaben.joshi@nhs.net Job Description Summary This role involves supporting teams to provide high-quality services to CYP and their families experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. Responsibilities include staff supervision, service improvement, participation and co-production work with CYP, and organizing Whole School Approach initiatives, all within clinical governance and professional standards. The Clinical Team Leader will manage the day-to-day operations of the teams. The teams operate Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, excluding Bank Holidays, with some flexible working arrangements. The Clinical Team Lead will collaborate with Service Managers, Clinical Leads, and other senior colleagues to ensure delivery of an effective Early Intervention Service. They will also support the development of integrated pathways with internal and external partners to provide seamless services centered around children and young people. Meeting KPIs and quality standards is essential. Additionally, the Clinical Team Leader will manage their own caseload, delivering early intervention, including complex cases and mental health assessments.
