Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Outpatient Team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to apply for a Band 6 CPN Role within the dynamic and supportive CAMHS Outpatient Team .

The successful candidate will be a part of CAMHS Outpatients, the team offer assessments and therapeutic intervention to children and young people who are affected by moderate to severe mental health difficulties and / or Neurodiversity. The successful candidate will work within a MDT to consider the most appropriate pathway options for the young people and children.

The team are dynamic and consistently evolving to be able to offer the best support / assessments and treatment to the young people and children that we serve. Join an exciting and truly multi-disciplinary approach to the patient experience, working alongside Psychiatrists, Social workers, mental health nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Health Care Support Workers and peer support workers all aiming to provide the best experience and quality care.

We offer flexible working with operating hours between 8am to 8pm Monday Friday

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)

  • To work within a MDT offering a comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment / treatment for the children and young people considering the family, mental health needs, risk and sign posting.
  • To work alongside / with the MDT to ascertain the most appropriate pathway and care
  • Liaison with other agencies
  • Supporting student learning and shadowing opportunities
