An exciting opportunity to join a forward-looking ICT Team delivering quality system solutions to a Blue Light Service. Working alongside our experienced System Management Team you will help ensure that Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) have the right systems in place to deliver quality services that enable our Service to deliver for our communities.

You will manage a portfolio of related ICT Systems; as part of the wider ICT team, you will be working with Service Colleagues to resolve issues and deliver change. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to key System delivery projects within the Service.

The successful candidate will have relevant knowledge of System portfolio Management. This would cover areas such as:

  • System Administration
  • Procurement and contract management
  • User training
  • Change Management process and projects

Technical knowledge of system configuration, incident and problem management would also be relevant. We are looking for candidates that can, above all, demonstrate the capability to excel in this broad and challenging role.
