You will automatically be enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), which is a tax-approved, defined-benefit occupational pension scheme. Your contributions are based on your earnings, and you can choose from different income options when you retire. Hybrid working is available.

Job Objectives:

  • Supporting the Strategic Accountant in budget setting and budget monitoring
  • Supporting Corporate Finance for key activities e.g. final accounts
  • Data analysis

Skills Required:

  • AAT accounting qualification or equivalent
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
  • Good financial systems and spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
