You will automatically be enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), which is a tax-approved, defined-benefit occupational pension scheme. Your contributions are based on your earnings, and you can choose from different income options when you retire. Hybrid working is available.
Job Objectives:
- Supporting the Strategic Accountant in budget setting and budget monitoring
- Supporting Corporate Finance for key activities e.g. final accounts
- Data analysis
Skills Required:
- AAT accounting qualification or equivalent
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
- Good financial systems and spreadsheet skills
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
