Make a Difference in Young People's Lives – While Supporting Safer Workplaces!\\n\\nAre you passionate about workplace safety and keen to support meaningful experiences for young people? Join LEBC as a Health, Safety & Welfare Assessor, where you'll play a vital role in preparing businesses to offer safe, engaging work experience placements.\\n\\nThis is more than just an assessment role – it's a chance to build long-term relationships with employers, enhance their understanding of workplace safety, and help create new pathways for students and apprentices across the region.\\n\\nWhat You'll Be Doing as a Health, Safety & Welfare Assessor:\\n\\nCarrying out risk assessments at employer sites across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire to ensure student placements meet safety and welfare standards\\nAdvising employers on health & safety, and child protection guidelines\\nIdentifying suitable tasks, responsibilities, and learning outcomes for students\\nBuilding and maintaining relationships to grow future placement and apprenticeship opportunities\\nPromoting additional LEBC services to support employer engagement and CSR\\nAccurately completing assessment records and documentation\\nMeeting employer visit targets and contributing to team development initiatives\\nThe post holder will be home based with daily travel to businesses across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.  On occasion there may be a requirement to attend meetings and training further afield in the East Midlands.

 Expenses will be paid in accordance with LEBC guidelines.\\n\\nThe nature of the work may occasionally involve the postholder carrying duties outside of normal working hours. Overtime working is paid as time off in lieu.\\n\\nThe postholder may be required to attend, from time to time, training courses, conferences, seminars or other meetings as required by his/her own training needs and the needs of the company.\\n\\nWhat We're Looking For:\\n\\nA full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business use insurance (essential)\\nNEBOSH General Certificate (highly desirable)\\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\\nA professional, proactive and friendly approach to assessing and improving workplace environments\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\nSalary £28,000 to £30,000 per annum, pro rata to working hours.\\nFull time 37.5 hours a week. Mon to Fri, between 8am and 5pm.
