We are seeking a highly motivated practitioner with a passion for early years experiences! This post is suited to someone who loves the outdoors and wants to gain experience working in a diverse setting with children 4 months to 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality childcare with exciting play opportunities suitable for the age of children you care for
- Set next steps for development and incorporate children’s interests
- Create meaningful relationships with children and families
- Meet children’s individual care needs
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing
- Record and document progress
- Maintain an inspiring environment/classroom
- Maintain a calm and stimulating environment day‑to‑day
- Care for children including feeding, toileting/hygiene/self‑care routines and medication administration
- Fill accident forms and other documentation
- Record keeping, observation and assessment
- Provide teaching and learning/educational provision
- Work in a team
- Support parents and families with children’s development
- Plan and enable enrichment activities
- Key worker duties
Qualifications
- Level 3 in early years education
- 1 year post‑qualification (ideal but not essential)
- Paediatric first aid
