This job provides full technical (sound, lighting, and projection) support at the Century Theatre. The role includes delivering technical service for each performance, assisting with get‑ins and get‑outs, and supporting technical rehearsals to ensure high‑quality sound and lighting.
Responsibilities
- Support and deliver technical requirements for each performance.
- Liaise with incoming acts regarding technical specifications and staging requirements.
- Assist with set‑ups, get‑ins and get‑outs, and technical rehearsals.
- Ensure a safe working environment for artistes, hirers, customers, and staff, including volunteers.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations governing theatres.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical industry experience.
- Experience contributing to the creative process of production and running a variety of live performances.
- Experience setting up performance events in a theatrical environment.
- Knowledge of theatre lighting, sound/PA equipment, electrical regulations, and health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and young people welfare.
