Tradesperson/Groundworker in the LCC Sites development Team, to undertake a variety of groundwork and hard landscaping.
About the RoleUse trade experience to undertake a wide variety of groundwork and landscaping jobs across Leicestershire. External hard construction works including fencing, drainage, surfacing, and other groundwork operations. Drive works vehicles and carry out vehicle and plant safety checks. Safely operate plant and machinery including 360 excavators, dumper, roller and handheld equipment. Undertake site visits where required and feed-in information to support the production of estimates by others. An enhanced DBS check is required for this post.

- CSCS plant safety certification for 360 Digger/Ride on Roller/Ride on Dumper
- Experience and working knowledge of groundworks, fencing and landscaping projects.
- Experience of liaising with customers.
- Experience in working with other ground working operatives
- H&S legislation awareness including CDM regulations
- Working knowledge and understanding of groundworks including tarmacking, kerbing, underground services, drainage & fence laying etc
- Good communication skills
- Full Driving licence
