About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team, as a Family Support Worker. We work across the Charnwood area and work alongside other agencies such as health, schools, social care and community organisations to support children and their families. Come and join our team and help improve outcomes for our Children and their Families.

About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject, e.g. social care, health or childcare, OR substantial experience in providing direct support to families that clearly demonstrates the experience, skills, competencies and knowledge outlined below
- Experience of identifying and delivering appropriate evidence-based interventions in the home, setting or group environment.
- Knowledge of child development and Early Years Foundation Stage
- Experience of carrying out assessments, support planning, formulating action plans and reporting outcomes
- An understanding of the impact of discrimination
- Proven ability to recognise Child Protection issues and Safeguarding practice
- Experience of working in a multi-agency environment
