About the Role: We are recruiting additional full‑time team members to deliver early years groups such as Fabulous Two’s and PEEP sessions across the county, provide outreach support for the take‑up of FEEE, and help children with emerging SEND become ‘Ready for School’ and achieve a good level of development.

About You: Applicants must be able to:

  • Hold NVQ 3 in an appropriate early years or child care subject or NNEB / BTEC (Nursery Nursing), health, social care, or equivalent.
  • Have experience supporting parents and children of pre‑school age in understanding early learning needs.
  • Have experience working with families where very young children experience difficulties in speech, language, communication or other key development areas.
  • Possess knowledge of child development (0‑5) and a particular understanding of language development.
  • Be familiar with techniques to stimulate speech and language development.
  • Understand different cultures, ethnicity and issues affecting parenting, family development and community inclusion.
  • Possess good delivery skills and be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, and keep professional records.

Requirements: An enhanced with barred list DBS check is required. Reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with a disability.

Flexible Working: Flexible working options including part‑time working, job sharing, term‑time working, flexible start and finish times, and hybrid working may be discussed.
