About the Role
As a forklift truck driver, you will be part of a small team responsible for transporting and locating stock throughout the warehouse, as required both for storage and to facilitate the picking and despatch of customer orders and associated activities.
This role is a “Safety Critical Post” and, consequently, subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with our policies and procedures. If successful in being appointed to the role, you will be required to agree to a planned test and achieve a negative result as part of any conditional offer of employment and/or during your probationary period. A copy of our Substance Misuse Policy and Procedure is available upon request.
About You
To apply for this post, you must:
- Possess current Electronic Reach Truck certificate to operate at 10.5 meters beam lift height
- Be able to pass a gas counterbalance truck certificate
- Have regular reach truck experience operating in narrow (3.1 meter) aisles
- Be careful, efficient, competent and safe in undertaking the role
- Have competent RDT and terminal keyboard skills
- General knowledge of good warehouse practice
