Job Title: Night Support Worker
We are seeking compassionate individuals to provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning differences in our Supported Living Service. No prior formal care experience is necessary; we value shared commitment to our core values, celebrating individuality and diversity.
We will provide comprehensive training during work hours and support your professional journey with mentoring and coaching. You will adhere to Leicestershire County Council\'s Employee Code of Conduct and the Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers. The employer will cover training costs and the DBS enhanced check (Adults Barred List) required for this regulated activity.
Working Hours
1 x 20-hour post per week, with flexible participation in a staff rota including weekends and bank holidays, between 21:00 and 07:00. The shift pattern is as follows:
- Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 21:00-07:00
- Week 2: Thursday 21:00-07:00
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality care and support, promoting independence.
- Respond flexibly to the changing needs of a 24/7 service, including working weekends and holidays.
- Maintain clear and concise records.
- Assist with moving and handling using available equipment.
