This is your opportunity to join our expanding Education, Inclusion and Additional Needs (EIAN) team within the Children and Family Service Commissioning Service and play a key role in supporting how we deliver services for children and young people.
If you're highly organised, confident working with data, and enjoy being at the centre of a fast-paced team - this role will give you real variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact.
About the Role
As an EIAN Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the team, keeping things running smoothly and making sure the right information is in the right place at the right time. You'll support commissioning activity across education placements, inclusion pathways and alternative provision - helping ensure children and young people receive the support they need when they need it. No two days will look the same, but your role will include:
- Coordinating and maintaining accurate information on education placements, provision and costs
- Keeping systems (including Synergy and internal databases) up to date and reliable
- Working closely with teams such as SENA, Social Care and Admissions, as well as external providers
- Pulling together data and reports to support performance monitoring and decision-making
- Maintaining records relating to placements, IPAs and provider communications
You will be a key link between teams - helping everything connect, flow and function effectively.
About You
To apply for this post, you must be organised, proactive and confident working with information and systems. You will bring:
- Recognised Academic Qualifications e.g. 'GCSE', 'A' Levels, Vocational Quals, Professional/Further Education Quals in relevant area or NVQ 3 or equivalent in relevant area or equivalent level of relevant experience
- Ability to use multiple IT applications (including a working knowledge of databases) to achieve a goal and the ability to analyse and interpret data/information and present it effectively
- Experience of working to strict timescales and meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of administrative work and experience in setting up of new administrative systems
- Ability to deal calmly and effectively with competing pressures and to perform effectively as part of a team
- Organised approach to work, with the ability to address and solve problems
- The ability to present information in a clear, accurate and literate format and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of backgrounds
