About the Role
This role involves providing full technical support – sound, lighting and projection – for the Century Theatre. Responsibilities include assisting with 'get‑ins' and 'get‑outs', technical rehearsals, and delivering the technical requirements for each performance. The candidate will liaise with incoming acts regarding their technical specifications and staging requirements, and maintain a safe working environment for all theatre participants, including compliance with H&S regulations.
Qualifications
- Relevant technical industry experience
- Experience contributing to the creative process of production and running a variety of live performances
- Experience in performance event setups in a theatrical environment
- Knowledge of theatre lighting, sound/PA equipment, electrical regulations and health & safety
- Ability to use initiative independently and work both as part of a team and independently
- Commitment to safeguarding and young people welfare
