About the Role
As a Children\βs Residential Social Care worker, you will work as part of a team to meet the holistic needs of children. You will support children in areas such as relationships, health, education, family time, and leisure. You will help create a homely environment and support young people\βs development.
You will work shifts on a rota planned one month in advance, including shifts such as 2pm β 12 midnight (sleep-in), 7am β 3pm, 8am β 4pm, and 2pm β 10pm.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant personal or work experience caring for children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
- An awareness of the social, cultural, emotional, and physical developmental needs of children.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and electronic.
- Willingness to complete a level three diploma in residential care within two years of employment.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this role.
