About the Role
Deliver engaging Group Fitness classes, instructing customers in a safe and effective manner in a positive and friendly atmosphere. Classes will be delivered in a group setting with a wide range of users. Providing excellent customer service while ensuring safety and professional standards are maintained, with responsibility for customer safety during classes.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Hold and maintain a current nationally recognized Level 2 fitness qualification, e.g., Exercise to Music.
- For Aquatic Fitness sessions, hold a current National rescue award for swimming teachers and coaches or a National Pool lifeguard qualification.
- Hold current qualifications for specific classes taught.
- Ability to deliver safe, well-structured, and progressive classes.
- Ability to screen customers and make participation decisions following safe exercise policies.
- Ability to interact with individuals and groups in both formal and informal settings.
