About the Role
The Business Support Team Manager will lead a high-performing business support team and oversee essential operational functions across a large, distributed service. The postholder will help deliver an ambitious vision for the service during a period of change, clearly communicating this vision to staff, learners and stakeholders. They will champion excellent customer service and support continuous improvement to meet the high expectations of service users and internal delivery teams. The nature of the work may involve the postholder carrying out work outside of normal working hours and participating in management cover out of hours.
About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Management or equivalent level 4 Admin Qualification e.g. ICSA or extensive relevant administrative experience plus good communication skills including written English.
- Recent substantial management experience within a relevant setting, including responsibility for staffing and financial resources.
- Experience in performance management to maintain and improve excellent customer service.
- Able to organise own work and lead and manage the work of others in different centres, including contingency planning.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Wellbeing practices and procedures.
