About The Role

This Finance Administrator position supports Accounts Payables, working within East Midlands Services, where the overriding standard is one of efficiency and customer service. The Finance Service Centre, based in Loxley House, Nottingham, serves both Leicestershire County Council and Nottingham City Council with their transactional finance. The postholder will provide transactional processing services to support the effective delivery of front line services whilst meeting or exceeding customer needs across customer service and accounts payable.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • NVQ Finance Level 2 or equivalent qualification
  • The use of ICT systems, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  • Use of Oracle Financial information system or similar.
  • A broad understanding of the purchase to pay and general finance terminology.
  • Experience of working in a finance or customer service environment.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Clear and concise written communication and good interpersonal / verbal skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team as well as liaising with internal and external colleagues.
