Main duties of the job

Your Objectives

As a Dispenser/Technician at TrustMed Pharmacy, your primary objective will be to ensure the timely and accurate dispensing of medications for our outpatient population. Working collaboratively with our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining stock control, replenishing supplies, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation within the dispensary. By fulfilling these objectives, you will contribute to our overarching goal of providing efficient, accurate, and safe patient care.

Job responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Dispenser/Technician will include:

• Dispensing and issuing medications, including controlled drugs and oral cytotoxic agents, for outpatient prescriptions.
• Maintaining accurate stock control of medications and ensuring timely replenishment of sundries.
• Participating in the organisation of the dispensary to uphold cleanliness and compliance standards.
• Collaborating with the pharmacy team to facilitate efficient workflow and contribute to the overall success of TrustMed Pharmacy.

Experience

• 2 years experience in pharmacy

Qualifications

• NVQ2
