An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our East Midlands Rapid Research Delivery Network (RRDN) flexible workforce, the Agile Research Delivery Team. We are looking to recruit a Team Administrator to join our Agile Research Delivery Team. The post holder will be based at one of our East Midlands offices (Paget House, Leicester or Curie Court, Nottingham) and will travel extensively across the region to support research activities.
Main duties of the job
The focus of this role is to provide essential administrative support to the Agile Research Delivery Team, helping to set up and deliver NIHR RDN Portfolio studies across the region. You will coordinate meetings, prepare paperwork, and support staff recruitment and development processes. Your responsibilities also include managing general administration for study delivery, using the NIHR Hub for data tasks, maintaining the regional Local Portfolio Management System (LPMS), and ensuring accurate documentation. You will act as the main point of contact for administrative queries, maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners. Strict compliance with data protection laws and Trust policies is essential. The role requires a flexible approach to working across varied health and care settings, including travel between sites.

- Good general standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including English
- IT qualification or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in an administrative or data management position in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of data confidentiality and Information Governance
- Awareness of research in health and care settings

- Good IT skills, including use of web applications, Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
